DELIVERING A REMOTE OPERATIONAL SHELTER FOR INEOS

INEOS required a dependable covered space at a remote site where challenging weather and limited permanent infrastructure made conventional construction impractical. The structure provided a fast way to create a protected environment for equipment, materials and operational activities.

Built for a Remote Location

Working in remote environments presents additional challenges around transport, labour and site access. The prefabricated shelter could be transported efficiently and assembled on location, reducing the amount of construction work required in difficult conditions.

Protection from Challenging Weather

The fully enclosed design provides protection from snow, wind, rain and prolonged exposure to the elements. A large front opening maintains straightforward access for equipment and machinery while keeping the main operational area protected.

Operational Space Where It Was Needed

The completed shelter created valuable usable space in a location where permanent infrastructure was limited. Its clear-span interior provides flexibility for equipment, storage and changing site requirements, giving INEOS a practical facility capable of supporting remote operations throughout the year.
